Stainless steel secondary combustion tubes and a C-cast baffle for a clean-burning EPA-certified insert. This unit produces almost twice the heat of a non-certified insert with the same amount of wood. 2.4 cu. ft. firebrick-lined firebox, recommended to heat 500-2,100 sq. ft. holds 20in. logs and provides burn time of up to 7-9 hours. Built-in air-wash system keeps ceramic glass clean, enabling monitoring and enjoyment of the fire. Fits most mid-size masonry fireplaces with opening dimensions of 29in.W x 15in.D x 22 5/8in.H. 5/16in. thick steel top. Includes variable speed 120 CFM blower and 32in. x 50in. faceplate. Firescreen option (AC01315) allows operation with door open. Heat Shield for mantel (AC01317) is available. Minor assembly required.
